Self Contained Tanks (ULC S653)
Self Contained or Self Dyked Tanks consist of a primary single wall tank that is mounted in a secondary containment, a dyke, which is capable of holding 110% of the capacity of the primary tank. It is for the storage of fuel, gasoline, and any other type of flammable or combustible liquid. Tanks can be manufactured in any size from 1100L to 100,000L. These assemblies have a useable life of 50 years..
