Domestic Oil Tanks (ULC S602)
Domestic Tanks are aboveground tanks for the storage of combustible liquids intended to be used as heating and/or generator fuels. This is the type of tank typically used for home heating oil. These tanks come in several popular sizes, 100 Gal., 200 Gal. and 250 Gal. These tanks are constructed of 12 gauge steel (2.5mm) and can be installed outside or inside. The useable lifetime on these tanks ranges from 15-25 years.
Standard Characteristics
  • Steel ASTM A1011
  • 12 gauge / 2.5mm
  • pressure tested to 5 PSI, air and soap test
  • threaded fittings for fill, vent, gauge and supply
  • threaded brackets for 1 1/4" pipe legs
  • sandblasted and primed with two coats of industrial primer
  • ULC label
